Basher4life Friday, Apr 22 2022 (about 3 years ago) Redcat Volcano EPX 1/10 Electric 4WD Monster Truck This truck is not the fastest but it’s fun. On the brushed system nothing broke. Putting brushless electronics in it really brought it to life. It is really tough except for the brushings which wore down and the plastic hexes. I replaced the plastic hexes with redcat’s aluminum hexes and then stripped out 3 wheels. Don’t buy their aluminum hexes (02134B) they wear down really easy. The battery is junk. The battery tray is designed for nihm batteries but I just strap in lipos. The two rear shock shafts bent and started leaking after jumping it 20 feet high (not recommended). I also accidentally jumped it in to a tree at full speed and nothing broke. I’ve had this truck for a few years and besides the usual wear I really like it.
