I used this for a 4wd SCT and it got me to a podium in a club race. It is now noted in the specs that some combinations will cause “brown out” issues. This is happening with 3 different types of Teiken ESC’s, absolutely ridiculous for a near $80 servo. However it does work great with my Reedy 510R. For these reason I give it a 3 star. You should not have to buy a capacitor or voltage regulator to get a product with this price tag to work. 1 of 2 customers found this review helpful. Fortunately, with a careful hand a hobby knife the base can be cut down as well as the excess near to the Rx plug. The wire sheath can probably be cut away too.
