This is an Avid Triad Evo Drive Plate Set. The Triad Evo Slipper Clutch utilizes an updated plate design that is self centering so you no longer have to use those 3 annoying black washers that you are always dropping on the floor. Avid also added 3 vent slots in order to remove some rotating mass and to help with cooling the plate during operation. Additionally, these plates can be used to upgrade your Triad Slipper Clutch to the Triad Evo specifications.
NOTE:They are compatible on every vehicle except the Durango conversion. Due to the nature of the Durango design they are too tight for operation. The Durango upgrade kit will include (2) original Triad Plates.

David Thompson Verified Owner Wednesday, Oct 28 2015 (about 9 years ago) Avid RC Triad Evo Drive Plate Set (3) I’ve been using the Avid 3 disc slipper system on several of my 2WD cars and I am now using it on my Kyosho RB6. The EVO version of these plates are approximately .5 grams lighter each and have also been machined to center themselves more effectively. The weight difference seems small however approximately 1.5 grams of decrease in rotational mass in the drive train is fairly significant. Avid is always high quality and these don’t miss!
