Anonymous Verified Owner Sunday, Mar 1 2009 (about 16 years ago) Axial AM55 540 Rock Crawler Electric Motor 55T I use this on my AX10, controlled by an XL-5 waterproof ESC and it makes for a great pair. I had to put the capacitors on it that came with my ESC, but that is a pretty quick task. This is a great motor and for the money, you simply can’t beat it. With the stock 87-tooth Axial spur and 14-tooth pinion, I have yet to find a circumstance where I wished I had a different motor or gearing setup. Super slow creep when I need it and plenty of wheel speed for hopping when I need that. Axial is giving people more than their money’s worth with this motor. 7 customers found this review helpful. I still need to play around with gearing.

If your looking for something for rock crawling id recommend this motor with its torque and low speed.
