I did two full sets of tires in about 5 minutes. The steel tip makes it so easy to get in between the tire and rim for perfect glue placement, quickly, without fighting the stupid straw or dealing with the plastic tips falling off and getting glue everywhere. (I know I’m not the only one that’s done that!) If you’re frugal, you can IMMEDIATELY flush the bottle/tip with some acetone after use to remove the glue. If you don’t, the metal tip WILL get plugged. At $4.50 for three bottles I consider them disposable after doing a few sets of tires. 2 customers found this review helpful. The first time I was looking for small containers for carrying different oils to the track. They worked great at doing that. Given the chance I would have given this product 5 stars for that use. This time, used as a container for CA glue, my rating would have been 1, or whatever score that indicates complete dissatisfaction. The problem simply put is the metal tube used to apply the glue. The glue instantly dried inside the tube. They became single use. I tried putting the cap on the tube along with putting a needle into the tube. Neither helped the problem. But, there is a silver lining to this problem. At the same time as ordering the bottles I ordered some tubing to use on my AKA glue. It fit perfectly into the metal tube and the glue doesn’t dry inside it.So…. for oil a 5 but for dispensing CA glue, a 0 Matt C. I picked these up as a couple of my CA bottles were glued shut and didn’t want to waste them. So glad I did. I usually use metal tips, but the supple bottle makes it so much easier to control the flow. I transferred my glue from the original bottle into this one. It feels great in my hand as I didn’t have to put so much pressure for the glue to come out like other bottles. Once I was done I did put rubbing alcohol in another one of these bottles and screwed the glue tip I was using and squeezed the remaining glue out so I can use the tip another day. What I normally do is poor some much more CA glue into the bottle and then put the cap back on the ca bottle for the future. A tip for controlling the flow rate is pinching the tip of the needle which is useful if you have really thin glue. Also to unclog a tip, you can use a lighter and squeeze the bottle until the clog clears but eventually it’s better to just get a new bottle.
