Thin enough to fit between rod ends that are too cklose together for other tools to fit. Matthew Taylor Tuesday, Nov 17 2015 (about 9 years ago) Hudy Special Turnbuckle Tool I’ve been wrenching on various mechanical things for the last 40 years. I have a professional Snap on box FULL of tools, that if I were to go and replace would easily top 30k. my point is this. Anyone who knows ANYTHING about tools will know that you have to have the right tool for the right application. That said, I have many tools I can and do use for my RC needs but I have found there ARE very specific tools (some a better quality then others) required to do the job correctly and without sustaining any more damage to what your working on. I agree. these Hudy tools are not cheap. But you do get what you pay for. I have said for a lot of Hudy’s tools. And guess what? if needs be. I’ll do it again.For those of you on here bitching about cost. carry your ass on down to Walmart and get you some tools and then proceed to ruin your expensive RC item! After doing that a few times? You’ll come around. And for the record Cody. before you go shooting off your mouth. Do your homework first! Snap On, Craftsman, Mac etc, will NOT save you ANY $ when it comes to their tools. I know. Anonymous Wednesday, Apr 19 2017 (about 8 years ago) Hudy Special Turnbuckle Tool I was bitten by the rc bug 17 years ago. I made the nooby mistake of thinking i could build my 1st kit with the L wrenches and tools supplied in the kit.(Hpi nitro rs4 2) by the time i was finished i had blue thumbs and sore wrists. Lesson learned, so i thought. I then bought myself a set of tools that the guy at my local hobby shop tricked me into getting by not explaining the benefits of quality tools. There was no youtube back then and no tracks that i could commute to and see what the more experienced rc enthusiasts were using as equipment. I had to learn the hard way. I now own quality tools and always remember the lesson i learned whenever i see negative reviews on name brand equipment(Hudy). Instead of bashing on people and comparing what we have to what they have, lets try to educate and not deter people by criticismin this hobby. Hobby stores are closing down everywhere the last thing we need is less people in the mix. Remember, knowledge is power and can definetly save you money. 1 customer found this review helpful. When you get a bad tool you,re in risk of spoiling your screws, nuts, etc… Also, someone who knows about this hobby much more than me, told me: when you buy good tools, you buy them once.
