Eric Larsen Verified Owner Wednesday, Dec 4 2024 (10 months ago) Pro-Line Positron SC 2.2/3.0″ Short Course Truck Tires (2) (MC) I am an amateur driver at my local track. I do not race but set decent lap times with respectable consistency when practicing. I run these tires on my original SC10 2wd without any tire sauce and without grinding inserts or the tread. My local track is hard-packed, wet clay so I’m running the MC compound. On practice days when the track is not as maintained (lightly watered, occasionally blown off, etc), these tires do very well for me. After 2 full battery packs of constant driving, there is zero wear on the tread. Even with full tread they don’t really load up much and clean easily. They grip well enough on hard, damp clay to take sweeping turns at speed with only minimal slide. For hairpin turns, they can easily be broken loose with light braking for a controlled slide. Again, I don’t race so can’t speak to any “tuning” tricks with these tires. I use these to have an enjoyable practice day at the track.
