Dan Verified Owner Thursday, Apr 17 2025 (5 months ago) RJ Speed Clamp Style Aluminum Drag Hub This is a beautifully machined and polished aluminum upgrade for your RJ Speed / Bolink 1/10 scale car. I put this on my old, original release Bolink Digger as the original plastic spur hub finally broke (after 30 years!!).
If you are purchasing this to replace a plastic one that used grub screws to grip the axle, as I was, you may find the grub screws left little “burs” in the surface of the axle. I recommend using a mild sandpaper and polishing the surface of the axle so this hub goes on smoothly. The tolerances are very tight, as mentioned its beautifully machined, so the burs may catch on on the hub. At “best” this would mar up the inner diameter finish of the hub, and at worse could prevent you from moving the hub into the correct position on the axle. Little bit of polish can go a long way!
All in all, this is an excellent upgrade that will almost certainly last the entire lifespan of whatever vehicle you purchase it for. View all reviews
