This is an optional RPM Traxxas 4×4 Caster & Spindle Block Set. Since the release of the first Slash 4×4, RPM customers have been asking for stronger front end components that could handle the punishment Traxxas 4wd trucks can dish out. RPM answers the call with these Caster & Steering Blocks for these awesome Traxxas trucks. Starting with a blank slate, drew in the necessary design elements and developed a design with a focus on punishment survivability. The core design of these caster blocks revolve around the lower-case “H” structure which provides extreme rigidity to keep camber and caster setting locked in place while running normally, manufactured from materials that provide serious impact absorption characteristics to prevent breakage when those “oops” moments inevitably arise.
RPM Slash 4×4 / Stampede 4×4 front-end components are made from RPM’s trademark blend of indestructible materials and come factory backed by their limited lifetime warranty for strength and durability you know you can trust! RPM steering blocks have also been engineered for durability, strength, rigidity and crash-survivability. More material surrounds the kingpin posts while smoother flowing turnbuckle arms provide a consistent feel and great performance from the steering system.
NOTE: RPM caster blocks and steering blocks for the Slash 4×4, Stampede 4×4 and Rally are sold as a set, including 2 caster blocks and 2 spindle blocks. These parts are not interchangeable with stock or aftermarket steering blocks / caster blocks. Running any part of this system with other stock or aftermarket steering blocks or caster blocks may void the RPM warranty.

Steven Dauber Saturday, Jul 13 2013 (about 12 years ago) RPM Caster & Spindle Block Set for Traxxas 4×4 Yet another Quality part from RPM. I bought these to put on my Traxxas Rally but they only work with the Stock Driveshafts. I only run MIP driveshafts and they will not work with them. The yokes on the MIP shafts are too big. I tried to grind some material off but they kept binding. I really wish RPM would make there stuff work with MIP Driveshafts. 3 customers found this review helpful. Keith Sherrill Verified Owner Wednesday, Oct 20 2021 (about 3 years ago) RPM Caster & Spindle Block Set for Traxxas 4×4 Good and durable. I have the Traxxas steel splined axles and these work. Took most of the slop out of the front end. I rated 3 stars because I’m on my second set. The material is too soft and the screws don’t tighten up. Not an issue with the camber links since I just put a longer bolt and a 3mm lock nut. Can’t do that with the steering blocks. The shoulder screws keep backing out. And if you have to take them apart to change bearings or something then forget about it. The screws just keep spinning and back out after every run.
