Schumacher Spiral Pin Short Course Truck Tires (2) (Silver)

This is a set of two Schumacher “Spiral” Pin Short Course Truck Tires. The Spiral tire was designed for surfaces that need more penetration of the ground to gain grip, like grass and loose dirt. Spiral tires feature large pins, in a directional ‘spiral’ pattern that spaces the pins closer together on one side of the tire, and farther apart on the other side. This design allows you to alter the lateral grip characteristics of the tire, without affecting the forward bite. This is done by changing which side of the tire is mounted to the outside of the rim. With the close spaced pins on the outside, the tires will offer the most lateral grip they can produce. With the far spaced pins on the outside, it will reduce lateral grip.

Schumacher Tire Compounds:

• Yellow:Soft Compound. The racers choice! The benchmark tire compound for all others to try and beat. Excellent choice for dry conditions.
• Silver:Super Soft Compound. The ultimate dirt/dust tire.
