E Monday, Mar 13 2023 (about 2 years ago) Spektrum RC 2000mAh TX Battery Bought this for my DX5 Pro. It works great, but…. no one seems to know how to charge it externally from a transmitter (i.e. the DX5 Pro does not have a DC power port).
The battery is a LiIon 2S and has no balance wire. Trying to charge it using a Prodigy 625 and the Spektrum interface cabe (SPM6834) results in an error message that there is an invalid cell count (no balance cable).
I spoke with several people at several locations and no one has offered up a safe charge method.
So – I can’t recommend it if you are planning to use it in a DX5. 1 customer found this review helpful. View all reviews
