This is a set of optional ST Racing Concepts Aluminum Threaded Rear Shock Bodies, and are intended for use with the Traxxas Slash, and Slash 4×4, as well as the Nitro Slash. These CNC Machined Aluminum shock sets feature threaded aluminum shock bodies with O-ring installed pre-load adjustment collars, in which the O-ring secures your pre-load adjustments in place. Threaded shock bodies allow for precise ride height and spring pre-load adjustments making them an awesome upgrade for both bashers and racers! These shocks also feature aluminum lower shock caps to keep the shock cartridge straight and flex free during suspension operation and heavy suspension compression.

Daniel Bosworth Verified Owner Monday, Apr 7 2014 (about 11 years ago) ST Racing Concepts Aluminum Threaded Rear Shock Body Set for Traxxas Slash These are NOT big bore shock bodies. Title of ad misleading. I just received mine today, and was wondering if I needed to swap to big bore shock internals. I go to the STRC website, and the part numbers match exactly, but STRC makes no mention of these being “big bore”, and in fact list that the ultra shock internals are to be used(AKA STOCK shocks, NOT big bore). I don’t buy aluminum stuff for bling, I buy it for functionality, and thought I would be getting a set of big bore shock bodies, that just happened to look nice too. Good quality product from STRC as always, but AMAIN screwed the pooch on this one.
