Tamiya PS-34 Bright Red Lexan Spray Paint (100ml)

This is a 100ml can of Tamiya PS-34 Bright Red Lexan Spray Paint. These spray paints were developed especially for decorating transparent polycarbonate bodies used in R/C car modeling. Each can contains 100ml (3oz) of paint, which is the appropriate amount for finishing one 1/10 scale model.
Painting polycarbonate bodies is done from the inside of the body shell as opposed to the outside of a traditional plastic model. When spraying body from the inside, keep the can about 30cm from the surface. After curing apply another coat as necessary. These paints are impervious to oil and fuels, so they can be safely used on gas-powered R/C bodies.
Warning:Never use these paints on plastic models.

Puddler of Paint Verified Owner Friday, Mar 14 2025 (7 months ago) Tamiya PS-34 Bright Red Lexan Spray Paint (100ml) Worked well but pricey. 1 Star knocked off for high price.Otherwise, good spray head- my buddies told me that Lexan is tricky to paint- and this is the way to go. Three pieces of advice for fellow noobs:
1. Do it outdoors if possible, wear a proper respirator.
2. Light coats, take your time. Hold it up to the light to see thin spots b4 next coat.
3. Masking for multicolor- pull the tape 10 minutes or so after last coat of first color. Wait a few hours or even longer before the next color to avoid bleeding of 2nd color into first color.
3b- just keep it simple, rub down edges of making tape lines well. Have fun. View all reviews
