Jesse Del Donno Verified Owner Monday, Apr 1 2024 (about a year ago) Tamiya TT01/TA05 High Torque Servo Saver (Black) Great upgrade to the stock TT01 servo saver, assembly was not overly hard. Once I had the first two metal bands installed, I put a Allen wrench in the last one big enough to spread it just enough to press it on to the other two, it took some doing, but once it was on it was on and had no issues.
Sadly, I have not been able to use it in my TT01…yet. I have the box stock linkage from the steering bridge and unfortunately it doesn’t line up properly. Sliding the servo back only a few MM will do the trick, but just haven’t had the time to make the adjustments.
Really it is a 5 star product, just lost a star due to not being a “drop in” replacement, but that is part of the hobby, making small modifications to make it work.
