Anonymous Friday, May 23 2014 (about 11 years ago) Tekno RC 12mm Aluminum Clamping Wheel Hex Set (4) These are a definite must have for sure when you first build the kit, as refrigerators has stated be careful with the little 1.5mm screw if you have good tools it’s not an issue at all, I had one”strip” on me and I bought the mip hex driver and it came off without a hitch. DO NOT use lock tite as the screws are inside the hex and have no way to back out while in use.
If you have any problems with the 1.5 hex driver. Try a 1/16th” as it is slightly larger.
I stripped a screw. I used a small flat head screw driver in behind the hex and popped it off. Still works great. just have to click them on like stock if they strip!

These are way better, dont crack, and I didnt have to spend hours filing them down so all my DE racing wheels fit. They just fit like they are supposed to. Much happier with these than the originals that came with the kit. Christopher Friday, Feb 26 2016 (about 9 years ago) Tekno RC 12mm Aluminum Clamping Wheel Hex Set (4) I hate to put a bad review about Tekno. I love my Tekno, and bought this with my kit. I kept experiencing striped out wheels though. I eventually figured out it was the hub design itself. A clamping wheel hex does not fit the wheel hub properly and then eventually it strips out the wheel hubs.
