Steve Hindmarch Sunday, Sep 27 2015 (about 10 years ago) Tekno RC 4mm Carbon Fiber Rear Shock Tower Nicely machined part, great for racers wanting to lower the CG however it didn’t seem as durable as the stock part. I’m not sure how mine cracked but it did, it’s not a complete write off but it’s a bit disappointing for such a thick tower of CF to crack with nothing I would call a significant crash. I suspect there is just a weakness in the lamination, I would suggest to anyone buying this that perhaps run some thin CA around the edges of the CF to prevent the type of crack I had from happening and check the towers often to find this issue before you snap the thing completely, or perhaps consider the M2C racing rear shock tower brace to reinforce the tower…but then that kind of defeats the purpose of buying a lightweight tower 🙁 3 customers found this review helpful.
