Using these before landing so hard that you blow the stock plastic caps off is a plus so the threads hold on stronger. No more popped off shock caps. I think I prefer the plastic body stock ultra shocks with aluminum caps to the big bore shocks. Cheaper, easier to rebuild and work great for general driving.
