This is an optional XRAY Graphite LiPo Battery Strap Set, and is intended for use with the XRAY T4 1/10 scale touring car. This battery strap features the XRAY smart battery holder system and batter tweak-free mounting system. The aluminum capture wheel enables you to easily close and secure the battery strap without any clips. Depending on the height of the LiPo battery, you can add additional shims below the stands.
The battery tweak-free mounting system works with the Multi-Flex Technology concept, the redesigned capture wheel gives sufficient play and will not stiffen the chassis even when the wheel is tightened excessively.

Once I figured out how to add height to my battery it worked well. Much better than using fiber reinforced tape. Tape will lose its adhesion when battery is removed and charged, the Graphite Lipo Battery Strap is screw-mounted and the capture wheel helps in securing the battery.
