Axial Aluminum Servo Horn (25T)

This is an optional Axial 25 Tooth Aluminum Servo Horn, and is intended for use with the Axial Wraith, Scorpion, SCX and XR10 trucks. If you drive your Axial based rig hard, then you already know how tough the rocks can be on a servo horn. Upgrading to Axial’s HD aluminum servo horns will give you added piece of mind on those all day expeditions.

Clifton Hackbarth Thursday, Sep 9 2021 (about 4 years ago) Axial Aluminum Servo Horn (25T) I bought this figuring it would fit my SCX10 II, my stock plastic one stripped out, it doesn’t fit well. The horn is high profile, one of links hits it under compression. I have know idea of why they make such high profile servo horns. I have ordered a Protek servo horn to replace it.
Edit: So I tried putting a low profile protek servo horn on the SCX10 II and that one rubs on a screw holding the battery tray. I switched back to the axial servo horn and investigated just to see how much the link hits the servo horn. It moves perhaps a one or two mm. Annoying, maybe I will try another brand…
Also, I noticed a cheap servo that I bought on Amazon for $25 has the exact same servo horn as part of its kit as the Axial brand servo horn! Minus the Axial name of course. There are different tooth count options so check how many teeth are on the servo you plan to use it on and select the proper one for your servo. Very nice design with the double clamp system. I appreciate the threaded holes as well, now I don’t need to use an extra nut on the back. Highly recommended upgrade! View all reviews
