Anonymous Verified Owner Friday, Jul 26 2013 (about 12 years ago) Axial AR60 OCP Universal Axle Set This is a great upgrade for any Ridgecrest or Wraith owner. The stock dog bone setup on the Ridgecrest and Wraith just does not work that well for this type of vehicle. The dog bones vibrate and lock up in such a way that it over stresses and wears out the carriers and steering knuckles. If you’re sick of breaking knuckles and carriers, then consider buying this set. Since I installed these axles on my Ridgecrest, I have yet to break any front end components. On top of that, these axles allow a greater range of steering than the stock dog bones. 7 customers found this review helpful. Scott Avoy Verified Owner Sunday, May 31 2020 (about 5 years ago) Axial AR60 OCP Universal Axle Set Installed on SMT10. Awesome service by AMain as usual. The axles do not fit the SMT10 properly. The spacing between the inner bearing and the cross pin is 1mm longer than the stock SMT10 part. If you try to shim between the pin and outer bearing the universal gets out of line with the axis of rotation of the knuckle on the hub and binds the universal joint. If you shim between the inner bearing and the flange on the axle with 10mm shims it will work but you weaken the bearing by not having the full inner race supported. In my process of upgrading my SMT10 I have found lots of axial “upgrades” to be low quality. These still may fit the OEM wraith knuckle as it is different from SMT10. 2 customers found this review helpful. Planning to use it as rock racer/bouncer/basher, with axe 2800kv and 3s battery. Haven’t used a battery yet but it seems to improve the steering angle a bit.
