Piers Morton Verified Owner Wednesday, Jun 26 2013 (about 12 years ago) Bob Smith Industries IC-2000 Black Rubber Toughened (1oz) This is the strongest adhesive I have ever used on RC car tyres. I found it takes longer to cure than standard CA so there is time to work it around the tyre bead. You need to be using black rims though.If you use your tires for more than a few races this is this go. I have not seen any other glue hold the side wall of the tyre bead, this can.Tyres can still be removed from rims with acetone. 7 customers found this review helpful. Ive been using a few of their products for years now, including the IC-2000. When using this glue, I have NEVER had a tire come unseated from the wheel/rim in the 5+ years I have used IC-2000. Even up against overpowered 1/8 scale builds running on 8S, it prevails. When working with pre-mounted tires, I always add a bead of IC-2000 over the top of the original glue, creating a rediculously strong pre-mount. 1 customer found this review helpful. Has a little bit more set time to settle and play with the tire and dries black.
