I’ve used these to swap out from my vintage 1990s era Tamiya and Associated vehicles. They are great in that you can pair them to a modern Futaba radio when do not need/want the added cost of a telemetry receiver. They fit in the radio box nicely, they’re up to the task of surviving the bumps and bonks, they’re tiny, they’ve got plenty of channels for cars that have fancy features, they’ve got more range than one can really see a 1/10 or 1/8 car at.
