IS GREAT FOR PLACMENT ON THE MOTOR. THE FAN ON THE OTHER HAND IS NOT REALLY THAT GOOD, I REPLACED THE FAN WITH A “YEAH TORNADO FAN”.
IF U GO WITH A DIFFERENT FAN THE SCREWS ARE M 2.5, I WOULD PURCHASE THIS AGAIN—!!! 3 customers found this review helpful. Scott Griffis Verified Owner Thursday, Sep 8 2022 (about 3 years ago) Hot Racing Clip-On Two-Piece Motor Heat Sink w/Fan (Blue) I can’t believe how well the tiny heat sinks hold on the the motor, I figured they would pop off on the first roll or hard jump but they held fast. The fan cools really well I installed it on my Lasernut stock motor that I am running on 4S because the motor heated up the aluminum chassis pan to a point that it was uncomfortable to touch. The motor was even hotter. With these two little heat sinks and the fan the stock motor was no longer uncomfortable to touch after a 45min run and the chassis was just a little warm to the touch MUCH BETTER!
4 stars because they did not include enough screws, they only give you 2 screws to mount the fan bracket to the heat sinks, it needs 4. If you look at the picture you will see only two little tapered head screws are included it is designed so that each heat sink has 2 holes that can be used to secure the bracket. The screws are 2.5mm you will want to have some on hand unless you don’t mind using one screw per heat sink. 2 customers found this review helpful.
