Unfortunately, it’s all aluminum, which acts as a major heat sink and really adds more time (and heat) to soldering up your connections than you really need to.
For insulated connectors, like Deans, it’s fantastic. For solid bullets and such, I can’t recommend for anything more than a quick re-flow or occasional use. 4 customers found this review helpful. Cons: Price point concerning the quality of the item. I’ve ran into a few issues with the red knob on these more than a few times. The knob sometimes gets stuck and on a few occasions fell off.
