The Hot Racing Steel Mod 1 Pinion Gear is compatible with 1/8 and 1/10 Scale Cars that use Mod 1 Gearing. Pinion has a 5mm bore, and is only compatible with motors that have a 5mm motor shaft. Choose tooth count from the pull down menu above.

This is a copy of other reviews, because I’ve purchased different sizes of gears, so here’s the thing…
I love Hot Racing upgrades, and these pinion gears are some of the best cut, well crafted gears I’ve dealt with.
I purchase Hot Racing spur gears, lubricate with silicone spray, and the backlash from the pinion gear is very consistent when going around the spur gear.
Consistent reliability gives me less to worry about.
