This is the Hudy Limited Edition Universal Handle, and is intended for use with Hudy Power Tool Tips. Featuring a super-lightweight CNC-machined Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum handle with a diamond pattern surface for unsurpassed grip, as well as a magnet that will hold the tip in place. The handle includes a black plastic cap press fit into the handle end. Optional color-coded plastic caps (violet, red, blue) are available to customize the tools to your specifications.

Magnet is strong and never slip and still the handle is lightweight.
A true multi purpose tool you can use with power tools or manual handling with the Universal handle, two for one.

Now, all I need to take is my electric screwdriver, tips, and this handle. Before, I had to take an entire set of hand tools with me too. The handle is very comfortable and grips the hand well, I only wish it had a rotating end cap like the Protek tools. It fits my MIP, Protek, and Associated tooltips well. The MIP and Protek ones don’t latch into the magnet as well so sometimes I end up pulling the tip out. However, it doesn’t happen often and the magnet keeps the tip in when holding the tool upside down. (I think the Associated one stays in there because the base of it is so short compared to the other two.) Initially, I was torn between these and a set of MIP drivers but ultimately decided on these because they were a little more aesthetically pleasing. I was half tempted to buy the $300 limited edition complete toolset but opted for the cheaper individual items like this to fit my needs. I’ve run electric for a couple of years so I’ve already built up my toolbox. This was a much-need upgrade to replace my old set of drivers that have served me well.

A thumbscrew to hold the bit in better would be nice, these bits fit so tight in the screw it sometimes pulls the bit from the handle, but all is good,A+. Everyone always praises Hudy tools in the RC communities. I worked with very high end tools all my life. This is not that. The hex socket must have been put in with a chisel. The bits go in, but barely, and once they do fall in, they barely stay in the handle. In fact, half the time they fall right back out. I can fix that myself by gluing a magnet in the handle, but I didn’t expect to have to modify a supposedly high end tool to make it work.
