JConcepts Chassis Over Tray for Traxxas Slash 4×4 (Clear)

This is a optional JConcepts Chassis Over Tray, and is intended for use with the Traxxas Slash 4×4 short course truck. When racing on a loamy or top soil track surface the inside of the chassis can become loaded with dirt or debris which creates extra weight. With the JConcepts over-tray these worries are minimized with the simple and functional over-tray. Fitting nicely under the body; the JConcepts over-tray hugs the outside dimension of the chassis protecting the inside from unwanted excess dirt and debris build-up during racing conditions.  
The over-tray fits snug around the entire chassis structure while being attached in the front with hook and loop tape (or velcro if you prefer) for easy access. The over-tray is built with extra height and rake to provide extra room for various electrical and battery configurations.

NOTE: Not compatible with LCG trucks.

Forker Friday, Apr 13 2012 (about 13 years ago) JConcepts Chassis Over Tray for Traxxas Slash 4×4 (Clear) I want to let everyone know that this over tray will not fit on your slash 4×4 without quite a bit of trimming. Which is perfectly fine as long as you expect to do a little mucking around. With that being said, this thing works great once you get it to fit right. I put duct tape flaps down along the sides so I could use velcro to attach it to the main chassis. I use my over tray in the snow and it keeps 99% of snow out. It makes clean up a whole lot easier and is also very convenient when running in loose gravel because it keeps debris out of that open spot in the driveline. I would recommend it, but know that you will have to do a little work to make it fit right. 6 customers found this review helpful. Plus, I had to cut custom nothches out for my front sway bars.
