The ProTek R/C 160T High Voltage Low Profile servo delivers an incredible 216 oz-in of torque and 0.08 transit speed at 6.0V, and when you bump the voltage to 7.4 the spec’s increase to 274 oz-in and 0.06! Spec’s like these make this servo an excellent choice for any 1/12 to 1/10 scale vehicle application. Other features include a full aluminum case that provides bomb proof durability and improved heat dissipation, a metal gear train that is supported by dual ball bearings, a 160mm long 22awg connector wire with gold plated connectors, and a coreless motor.

Plus, instead of a cheap plastic servo horn, ProTek R/C goes the extra mile with an included aluminum single arm servo horn that will stand up to a majority of the punishment you can throw at it. And for additional rigidity, four blue aluminum servo ear guides are included as alternatives to the rubber grommets. It’s size and weight make it a great choice for 2wd buggy. Then, after you use one, you’ll laugh at the last sentence because this servo is crazy powerful. In my B6D, I was setting end points and checking steering linkages when I grabbed one of the tires and tried to turn it against the servo. I had to crank on the tire hard to make it ‘cry’. It’s strong. This is a must-have for 4wd 1/10 buggies since space is at a premium. The only servo more impressive than 160T is 170S ‘Chad Bradley’ edition. I have this in my 4wd buggy and I run it on 6 volts. It has plenty of torque on high bite clay. The servo is very quiet and smooth. The case is an added bonus! I plan on running this on my nitro as a throttle servo as well on 7.4 volts. I would highly recommend this servo. Super quiet! Fast! Not to mention awesome looking! This thing works flawlessly in my Losi 22T!! Would definitely buy again and again. Only downfall is the brass gears tend to strip fairly easily. I have 3 of them and the only one that hasn’t stripped is in my dirt buggy. I have used a bunch of Protek servos in the past and this one is just as good. Best budget servo out there. Just as good as the $200 servos. It’s pretty cool that it’s super quiet, does not make a lot of noise when trying to find center and operates extremly smooth and fast. Superb quality!This servo is so smooth, so quiet, so strong and ver fast. I used these in my 10th scale wheeler in which they have always worked flawlessly, servo savers are not needed as these servos are built to truly for anyone looking for nothing short high end performance, longevity etc. Racers, bashers, rest assure this servo has you coveted. The screws on the front of the servo all backed out after about 10-12 race weekends. Stripped the gears and damaged the rest of the servo.
Because he races once or twice a month it is now out of warranty.

I love them,they are plenty fast enough and I’ve clipped a few turns so hard that I thought that the servo would definitely been hurt, but nope the servo can definitely take a hard hit from the tire clipping the inside wall or slamming the outside wall.
