With the ProTek R/C Large Storage Container, you have four rows of customizable compartments. The rows can be configured into twenty-four individual compartments for small parts and hardware, or left open to store longer items such as zip ties. At 11.75 inches long, 7.75 inches wide and 2 inches deep, a wide variety of items can be organized and stored for when you need them the most. When it’s time to travel, a single latch bar locks the lid down keeping your contents securely organized.

I recommend it for larger parts, definitely not shims unless you want to improvise (see below where I describe the actual problem) I identified two potential problems: 1. the locking mechanisms of the case doesn’t feel very secure, occasionally needs a bit of extra attention for closing it properly. 2. (which is normal for most of this cases) if you have small parts (like shims) can float around -so recommended for larger parts. The best part is the compartment bottoms are ramped, so pulling out small pieces is insanely easy.
