These curved bladed ProTek RC “TruTorque” Lexan Scissors feature a specific blade angle designed specifically for cutting Lexan (Polycarbonate) material. The curved blades are made from High Quality 420 Stainless Steel and are effective at precision cutting.

For strait line cuts use the ProTek R/C Straight Lexan Scissors (PTK-8278).

Marshall Patten Saturday, Sep 10 2016 (about 9 years ago) ProTek RC “TruTorque” Lexan Scissors (Curved) I normally don’t write many reviews but I feel I have to for this product in order to warn others. I paint rc shells professionally and go through many pairs of scissors per year. These are by far the worst scissors I have ever used in 18 years in the hobby. The plastic and metal flex a ton when you try to cut even thin 10th scale shells, they are very inaccurate, the blades feel dull straight from the package and they simply cannot cut a clean line in a curve or straight line. Do yourself a huge favor and spend $2 more for the scissors team associated offers. When I got these I was thinking all lexan scissors are the same but these definitely proved me wrong. Associated. The curved tips seem to catch each other before they fully close on the pair I have. So far, not really an issue but I expect they’ll need to be lightly filed a bit in the future. I used this to fit lights on my TRX 4, having this tool made a huge difference. I’m able to make small percise cuts to trim my body exactly how I want to.
