Anonymous Monday, Apr 15 2024 (about a year ago) RC4WD King Off-Road 1/10 Scale Dual Spring Shocks (100mm) Best shock out there, period. Functions incredible. Some may say otherwise because they don’t properly build these. You need to grease o-rings by hand as well as fill your oil which makes it fun to maintain. You feel the benefit when the oil degrades and you clean your internals for fresh grease and fluid. If you don’t run oil, these shocks will feel very notchy out of the box. I recommend a rebuild whenever the shaft looks a bit grey and oily. Seals just need more grease between rebuilds, ive been doing these for years and have yet to change one O-ring. 10 total shocks between two trucks (90mm/100mm/110mm) and have never let me down between maintenance intervals. 1 customer found this review helpful. Ball ends are not easily replaced, I could not get the bottoms ball end out which made it not applicable for my usage. These are the only ones I don’t like. They don’t travel all the way. The top cap is to big and doesn’t allow complete travel. Like I said, they look awesome and are constructed well, but.
