Brian Zander Verified Owner Sunday, Mar 17 2019 (about 6 years ago) RC4WD Rock Crusher X/T 1.9″ Rock Crawler Tires (2) (X3) I had to reserve judgement until after a full day of crawling and in the end, I give ’em four stars. At first glance I thought these were cheap Chinese knock-offs. The detail on the sidewall is dull and barely legible and there was a lot of mold flashing running down the center of the tread. The soft compound with large tread blocks feels compliant yet sturdy.
Out on the trail, these tires performed well on dry sandy rocky riverbed and light vegetation, fording up running streams and climbing up sandstone and medium grained granite plus some limestone and shale. Mud cleans out fairly well but the aforementioned flashing retards that effort and the grip on wet rocks leaves something to be desired. A little siping with an Exacto would improve that shortfall. All things considered, given the small size of these tires, they are good performers and look perfect under my flat camo painted Mighty FC body mounted atop the Veterra Ascender (11.4″/290mm). Mounting to the PitBull Raceline Injectors was a huge pain though. Not enough groove for the bead to seat in, it wants to “squish” out when tightening the beadlocks fully. 1 customer found this review helpful. They did work well for a international build I did looks wise, but the performance of them is awful. I love lettering and other molded graphical detail on the side of a tire as long as it’s done right. This is not the case with these particular tires, sadly. Nevertheless, they have one of my favorite tread patterns and are otherwise fantastic. They were both the same color and for the price unbeatable. I didn’t give 5 stars because these or not full size 1.9 they are smaller but 1.9 rims do fit without any modifications. They are very deep tread like they said and really they look pretty good on my truck. I have Pro-Line Super Swampers then I got these tires and switch them out. I’m happier with the smaller 1.9 then my Super Swampers thank you A Main Hobbies so don’t let the reviews scare you away from these tires they’re worth it. Gabriel Botello Verified Owner Monday, Mar 1 2021 (about 4 years ago) RC4WD Rock Crusher X/T 1.9″ Rock Crawler Tires (2) (X3) I purchased these on Feb 24th and the funny thing is they are different colors, one is black and the other set has a blueish tint to them. The blueish tint tires were on the rear wheels and one started riping from the lip that the rim clamps on to. The overall grip on rocks is 4-10 and totally bad on soft dirt.
