Bryson Kahaloa Monday, Nov 15 2021 (about 3 years ago) Redcat Hexfly HX-N802 NiMh/NiCd 2A Charger I got one of these included with a second-hand, RWD drift converted TT-02 chassis and I’m gonna be honest… This charger is really basic. It’s charges your batteries and that’s it. What I like about it is that it will shut itself off when your batteries are charged which is nice. However, charging times will vary and if you have a very high mAH battery, it will take HOURS to charge fully! To give you an idea, I used this on a 5000mAH battery and it took 2 1/2 hours to fully charge! My 4000mAH LiPo on my EcoPower balance charger takes only an hour. So not the best but a slower charger helps prolong the life of your NiMH. But again, the charger shuts off when the battery is fully charged so it’s a plus.
Overall, if you need a charger for your NiMH batteries that’s no nonsense, this one will get the job done. Is it the best? Not really but it will get the job done without burning out your batteries. 1 customer found this review helpful. View all reviews
