No belt skip if adjusted properly! Works even better if paired with rear aluminum eccentric and front aluminum pulley housing! When I ordered the part it was on backorder. From my research there were few to none of these parts left anywhere. I wanted to ensue I got one before they were no longer available at all. I also saw that it was out of stock at the manufacturers site, Schumacher RC,
After about a week it showed in stock on the Amain website. After another week it still showed in stock but my order still showed that they were waiting for stock. After multiple attempts to reach customer service I finally got a human on the phone. They did help me. Apparently since the part was in a different warehouse, though it was in stock, my order was on hold waiting for stock.
When my upgrade kit (part) arrived it appeared that it had been opened and resealed. As I began to install it, I found that two of the 1/8 x 1/4 ball bearings were missing.
Trying to reach Amain customer service was a terrible experience. At one point I had sent an email describing my issue with the missing parts. The replay was something like, “it looks like you have it taken care of” after which my concern was marked as resolved.
