This is a set of optional ST Racing Concepts CNC Machined Aluminum Hex Adapters, and are intended for use with the Traxxas Slash 4×4. These 12mm Hex adapters securely mount on your Slash 4×4 tires and wheels with no chance of the adapters being rounded off under heavy torque and power loads. Set screws on the hex adapters securely hold them in place on the stock axles (may not be compatible with aftermarket axles). These parts are CNC machined from high quality aluminum and anodized blue, for durability and good looks.

I love my Traxxas Hoss that I also bought through amain, but the stock wheel hubs just shredded, and two of them completely bored out and bent the two metal pins. And all of this happened in the span of 15 minutes of driving it around the yard/street, so just average use. Certainly no jumps or tumbles. I have seen other Hoss trucks do perfectly well for a while and eventually it becomes one of the first things to upgrade, but I recommend adding it in as soon as you can, because stripping out the stock plastic hubs can also tear up the inner wheel.
Ever since I installed these and have had at least a dozen battery runs of both grass/dirt and pavement use, they’ve held up perfectly well. I’ve even had them apart just recently to check em out and they’re still just as shiny blue as when I installed them. However, once I got MIP X-Duty for slash 4×4 I couldn’t use them anymore. I just used these on my nitro 4tec instead.
