Michael Rourke Wednesday, Jun 23 2021 (about 4 years ago) Tekin 12awg Silicon Power Wire (Pink) (3′) The insulation is definitely thinner than some other brands but the conductor itself most certainly is not thinner. It’s the same total size in diameter as Dash 13ga, but you can clearly see how much of the Dash wire is silicone insulation whereas the Tekin wire is actually full of conductor. I purchased so my drift cars could have matching color wire to the upgrade pieces I have installed. After using Tekin wire I would never use any other brand, I know hes getting it from somewhere and branding it but I know I can trust them to get me this quality every time. Soldered so much better then the cheap wire we get everywhere else. jerome spies Verified Owner Thursday, Sep 6 2018 (about 7 years ago) Tekin 12awg Silicon Power Wire (Pink) (3′) It is more like 14 gauge, scared to use it on my mod motor. I have Chinese wire that is 12 gauge and is thicker, protek wire that is thicker. I would be scared to run this wire on a stock motor.
